After many years since it was first introduced into mainstream U.S. culture, Transcendental Meditation (TM) still attracts many spiritual seekers to its beliefs and practices. I was one of these seekers. 

This is the story of how I was drawn into the mind-altering experience and even advanced to the point of teaching it. Although it did seem to relax me, something didn't seem quite right. The meditation turned me inward, and I became self-absorbed, proud, and insensitive to the needs of others. The peace I attained was one of emptiness rather than of fullness.  My spiritual journey took a new direction when I began to call on the Name above all names. It was only then that I finally experienced a personal knowledge of God, the kiss of God. We're talking about a real transformation of the heart that I did not experience before.

Furthermore, I found my new spiritual life to be supernatural, rich and much more profoundly meaningful than the psychic realm I had known. To my surprise, the revelatory experiences freely given to me by God were genuinely backed up by the Holy Scriptures, my road map to eternity! So the straight and narrow path wasn't limited or boring after all! God is awesome!!!
